Warm Apple Pie

Do you just ever want to curl up in a blanket, on a cold night, and watch a movie? I know I have. Well, to make it even warmer, here’s a delicious recipe to bake apple pie. You can eat it with a tall cold class of milk. It makes one full pie that you can choose to share, or to keep all to yourself. To make things even better, it doesn’t require a lot of ingredients. Looking all over the store for one ingredient won’t be a problem. I should let you get to baking, then. I hope you enjoy it.
Ingredients needed:
Two crust for 9-inch pie; any pie pan (not baked)
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1 can (6 ounces) frozen apple juice, thawed
5 to 6 Gala apples, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons butter
Directions:
Heat oven to 450°F. Place the first pie crust on the bottom of the pan. Set to the side.
In a saucepan, heat flour, cinnamon and salt. Gradually stir in apple juice and bring to a boil. Personally, I raise the temperature of the stove, so that it boils quicker. However, if you choose to do this, you have to watch so that the mixture doesn’t burn. Add apples and stir thoroughly to coat with thickened juice. Be careful not to knock out any of the apples, while stirring. Pour into pie shell and dot with butter. Add top crust and seal.
If you want to have a cross hatching crust, you first have to lay out the second pies crust. Then, with a knife, slice the crust into thin slices. Like so. Also. There’s a possibility that you’ll have to buy another pie crust. This is for the other slices used to crotch hatch.
Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350, and continue baking for an additional 30 to 35 minutes, or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
In the end, my pie ended up looking like this.

If yours doesn’t come out like mine, that’s totally fine. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same. Hopefully, when you take that first bite, it will be absolutely mouthwatering. I would be very happy to know that you liked my recipe. If you didn’t, you can comment to critique something about the recipe. I wouldn’t mind at all. Not everybody shares the same experience.
